Research Interests
Effective methods in geometry. Quantitative aspects of real algebraic
and analytic geometry. O-minimal structures. Symbolic
computation. Algorithms and lower bounds.
Doctoral work
I did my PhD under the joint supervision of
Andrei Gabrielov
at Purdue University, and
Marie-Françoise Roy at
université de Rennes 1.
The title of my dissertation is Quantitative study of
semi-Pfaffian sets. The final version of the text is available at
arxiv.org/abs/math.AG/0401079.
